We are very proud of the work that Keith's brother, Mark Stewart accomplishes in his silversmith workshop in Lipan Texas so we decided to share with our visitors a glimpse of Mark's works of art.
Mark is a self taught silver artist. He began by making us all very functional spurs from horse rasps. With the support of fellow silversmiths and other cowboy gear artisans he how has a fulltime business crafting his work from his home in Lipan Texas. Mark displays his creativity at the Working Ranch Cowboy Association Finals in
Amarillo
Texas
each year. In 2007 he was invited to submit a piece of his work to the Trappings of Texas show in Alpine Texas. Mark was successful in being juried into the show and the bit that he submitted sold on opening day. The new owner had to wait a full month until the show closed before he could claim his functional piece of art.

Mark includes actor Robert Duvall among his valued customers and friends for whom he made a set of spurs. Mr. Duvall worn these spurs to the Premier of the film, Open Range, in which Mark worked as Mr. Duvall's double.
