Jul 6, 2012Fri12:00 PM Calagary Stampede Centennial Pageant
July 6 to 15, 2012 inclusive
Back in 1912, Guy Weadick organized the very first Calgary Stampede as a way of preserving the Western values that he thought were already fading into the Alberta sunset. Nearly a century later, the Calgary Stampede has not only entrenched those Western values of friendship, courtesy, and hospitality . . . we’ve become known for them worldwide. As the Stampede’s 2012 Centennial celebrations loom large on the horizon, the Calgary Stampede is organizing a centennial pageant. Keith will be working with the Stampede on this project beginning in May until the close of the Stampede on July 15, 2011. We will post more details on this exciting event and continued success of the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth as they are released. 2012 promises to be the best Stampede event ever garnering worldwide media attention.
